The City of Lights

Paris.  Always breathtaking.

I've returned again and again, and each visit brings a new angle to this exquisite city.  This time, along came our eight year old.  His first time in France, his first time in the City of Lights - lucky boy.

We hummed along to Edith Piaf and 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien'.  "Hey Mum, it's that cool French song from Madagascar 3".

We headed to the Bibliotech San Genevieve to witness the skeletal framing technique used to such magnificent soaring success by architect Henri Labrouste "Hey Mum, it's that cool library we saw in 'Hugo'

At Musee D'Orsay -  'Wow!  Look, it's Hugo's clock!'

We wandered the streets and munched on delicious macaroons from Laduree.  We both agreed on this one 'Yum'.

Two sets of eyes, two different views, one conclusion: Paris, gorgeous.  Go.  Go again.  Be inspired.
